Chris Lancaster, Accident Attorney
Christopher C. Lancaster is the President and Founder of Lancaster Law Firm, P.A. His practice is dedicated to fighting for people who have been injured in accidents or abuse. Prior to opening Lancaster Law Firm, Chris spent over 10 years working in the field gaining experience with civil, criminal and personal injury cases.
He also has prior experience working as an insurance defense attorney, specializing in litigation of nursing home actions, professional liability, and general liability cases. Working for insurance companies, has given Chris a valuable insight and perspective when representing plaintiff’s in personal injury cases, which often result in better settlements for his clients.
Mr. Lancaster began his legal career at the Public Defender’s Office for the 6th Judicial Circuit, in Clearwater, Florida. For 3 ½ years, he served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Felony and Misdemeanor Divisions, trying a total of 33 jury trials, including attempted murder and D.U.I. offenses. More recently, Mr. Lancaster has successfully represented victims of auto accidents and serious personal injuries in civil jury trials throughout the Tampa Bay Area.
Mr. Lancaster is a 2009 Honors Graduate “With Distinction” of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He finished in the top of his class in Advanced Legal Writing and Florida Comparative Procedure, receiving Book Awards for those courses. He also completed law school with a 14-week externship at the Clearwater Public Defender’s office.
In 2006, Chris graduated from Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, where he played four years of college basketball and met his wife Katie Lancaster. They currently live in St. Pete, FL with their beautiful daughter Ciara and dog Rudy.

Sarah Wood
is a paralegal at Lancaster Law Firm. She works primarily on cases that are in litigation (lawsuits). She drafts legal documents and pleadings for the courts, and helps Mr. Lancaster move cases towards settlement.
Sarah has a Bachelor’s in both Spanish and German from Murray State University, a post graduate certificate in Paralegal Studies from National Paralegal College, and a Master’s in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from University of South Florida.
Sarah is a mom to two young children, Fiona and Emery, an Army wife to Michael, and a host mom to foreign exchange students. When she isn’t working on cases, she enjoys everything fitness and outdoors.
